Tansu Pancar has been a researcher at the Institute for Research in Open, Distance and eLearning (IFeL) since 2018 as part of the UNESCO Chair on Personalised and Adaptive Distance Education. He has been working at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS) since 2018. He received his PhD in Information Systems from Middle East Technical University in Turkey. Prior to joining the FFHS, he worked in the telecommunications industry as a project manager. His research interests include technology-enhanced learning and the development and implementation of personalised and adaptive learning environments. He is also working on developing course content for adaptive and non-adaptive courses, as well as MOOCs provided by IFeL.

Research focus: personalised and adaptive learning, learning analytics.
